This is a inspiring tale that reveals the artist in everyone. Vashti is a little girl who doesn't believe she can draw until her teacher points out how incredible her dots are. The teacher simply frames Vashti's dot and this gives her the confidence to keep creating works of art of protraying dots. Reynolds shows the reader how something so simple can be appreciated if you believe it to be special.

This book is great for children of all ages, however, it would be most effective for anyone above the age of five - once our inhibitions starts to take over our confidence.
