It is known that eating papaya while breast feeding helps increase your milk supply. The Chinese believe that the 3 ps are what help: peanuts, papaya, and pig's feet.

Here is a papaya recipe that is known to help:

15 cups water
2-3 oz ginger
1 1/2 lbs white fish (bone and skin on)
2-3 lbs green papaya (peeled and cut into big pieces)

Pan fry fish lightly.  Put all ingredients in boiling water.  Cook for 2 hours on medium heat.
